Sitting watching the clouds dance around the mountain peaks is one of my favourite pastimes here in Tirol. The mountains can entirely disappear, all of sudden at times.. and it's only clouds for a while.

The clouds and sky change colour so often too. Sometimes the sky is even a light ochre or green-ish hue. And the snow changes colours so much depending on the time of day, light, snow conditions and weather patterns - not just white.

My feeling in this painting is a view of many, many small fragments of time, combined together when the weather is making it's dance with the mountains.

Never still.
